The Artistic Panda was another blessing for the family. Artistic Panda pre-announced his entry right before testing positive for pregnancy. Up to that point of the entire life of Monk Scientist, his left upper eye lids twitched unstoppably only twice for auspicious good luck. Once when Musical Panda was impregnated. And the second time was for Artistic Panda. Never has Monk Scientist got any lotteried prize in his life. At his company’s party, he won the top prize of a big TV. With both indications, he knew that Princess Pea would test positive for Artistic Panda’s pregnancy. The TV was obviously a lucky gift that Artistic Panda brought along with him. At the party, an unresolved conflict was also automatically dissolved between Monk Scientist and his divisional manager, but that was another side story.
Artistic Panda demonstrated amazing ability and memory with images & locations at early age. While still sitting in car seat at about five months, Monk Scientist took a slightly different route to a local shopping mall. After a few seconds or so when the route merged back to usual customary road, Artistic Panda made a weird baby sound, almost saying that he knew they were back to the usual route and knew where they were going. Once Artistic Panda could talk, one could always count on Artistic Panda for direction, and where the car was parked without fail. Artistic Panda remembered everything in great detail.
At about the age of eight, Artistic Panda exhibited his genius by intuitively solving the problem of the five dominating queens on the chessboard from Scientific American magazine in very few seconds. Artistic Panda liked to draw and paint. The pursuit of beauty carried over to everything Artistic Panda did. Nothing less than perfection could satisfy the Panda. Artistic Panda’s school grades were oftentimes over 100%, not just from close to perfect exam scores, but also all the unnecessary works done for extra credits.
